No such thing as a bad review

Here is a foolproof way to get a good review. When I appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live recently to discuss the BBC Proms, the programme's ground rules were made clear by the BBC presenter. I was not allowed to criticise the planning of the concerts, as the Proms director Roger Wright was not taking part in the programme and, therefore, was not available to answer criticism. But there was absolutely no problem praising the planning of the Proms; despite Roger Wright not taking part in the programme.
